Raising a Generation of Young Leaders and Changemakers.
KINA (Kijana Inuka Nawiri Angaza) is a youth-lead movement empowering young people to lead positive change through leadership development, civic engagement, economic empowerment and community action.
Who We Are
More than an Organization. A Movement
KINA is a registered youth group under the Dr. Susan Munayi Foundation dedicated to raising informed, empowered and socially responsible young people.
We believe young people are not merely the leaders of tomorrow, they are leaders today. Through mentorship, leadership development, civic education, entrepreneurship, climate action, and community engagement, we equip youth with the skills and opportunities needed to create meaningful change.
Our goal is simple: to help young people rise above limitations, thrive through opportunity and illuminate their communities through positive action.

OUR VISION
— A generation of empowered young people leading positive change in their communities.
We envision a future where young people are informed, confident, innovative, and actively engaged in shaping sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous communities. A future where youth are not passive beneficiaries of development but leaders, problem-solvers, and catalysts for transformation.
OUR MISSION
— To equip young people with the leadership skills, civic awareness, economic opportunities, and practical tools needed to create sustainable impact in their communities.
Through mentorship, capacity building, innovation, community engagement, and youth-led initiatives, we empower young people to rise above challenges, unlock opportunities, and become agents of positive change.
OUR STORY
From Potential to Purpose
KINA (Kijana Inuka Nawiri Angaza) was founded on a simple but powerful belief: when young people are empowered, communities thrive.
Across many communities, young people face significant challenges, including unemployment, limited opportunities, inadequate access to mentorship, environmental challenges, and barriers to meaningful participation in decision-making processes. Yet within these same communities lies immense potential, creativity, and leadership.
As a registered youth group under the Dr Susan Munayi Foundation, KINA was established to provide young people with the support, knowledge, and opportunities they need to realize their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
KINA is more than an organization. It is a movement that inspires young people to rise above limitations, thrive through opportunity, and illuminate their communities through leadership and service.
Today, we are building a generation of young leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, environmental stewards, and active citizens committed to creating lasting positive change.
